2. Service Levels and Availability
We strive to provide reliable, high-quality service:
- Uptime Target: We aim for 99.5% platform availability (excluding scheduled maintenance)
- Scheduled Maintenance: Announced at least 48 hours in advance when possible
- Emergency Maintenance: May be performed without notice to address critical issues
- Support Hours: Email support available 24/7 with response within 24-48 hours
- Premium Support: Available for enterprise customers with dedicated account management
Service levels may vary by plan. Please refer to your specific plan details for guaranteed SLAs.
3. User Responsibilities
To use Bot The Builder effectively, you agree to:
- Provide Accurate Information: Supply truthful, complete account and billing information
- Secure Your Account: Maintain confidential passwords and secure access credentials
- Acceptable Use: Create chatbots that comply with our acceptable use policy and applicable laws
- Content Rights: Ensure you have rights to all training content you upload

4. Service Limitations

- Not a Substitute: Bot The Builder is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial)
- Rate Limits: API calls and message volumes may be subject to rate limits based on your plan
- Data Processing: Training new content may take time depending on volume and complexity
- Language Support: Primary support is for English, with varying quality for other languages
- Third-Party Dependencies: Services rely on third-party AI providers and infrastructure
5. Billing and Payment
For paid plans, the following applies:
- Free Tier: Available with limited features and usage quotas
- Subscription Plans: Billed monthly or annually based on your selection
- Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, or other approved methods
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Price Changes: We may adjust pricing with 30 days notice
- Refund Policy: Pro-rated refunds available within 14 days of initial purchase

8. Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use Bot The Builder to create chatbots that:

- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights
- Impersonate individuals or organizations deceptively
- Collect sensitive personal information without consent
- Provide medical, legal, or financial advice without proper disclaimers
- Generate sexually explicit or adult content

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
9. Service Modifications
41Labs LLC reserves the right to:

- Discontinue Services: Retire features or the platform with reasonable notice (minimum 90 days)
- Change Providers: Switch underlying AI models or infrastructure providers

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and provide advance notice of major changes.
10. Third-Party Integrations
Bot The Builder may integrate with third-party services:

- Payment Processors: Stripe or other payment gateways

We are not responsible for third-party service availability, changes, or data practices. Review each provider's terms and privacy policies.
11. Intellectual Property
Ownership and rights:
- Platform IP: Bot The Builder platform, code, and branding are owned by 41Labs LLC
- Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you upload and create
- Generated Content: Chatbot responses are jointly created; you may use them freely
- Feedback: Suggestions and feedback you provide may be used by us without compensation
- License to Us: You grant us a license to use your content solely to provide the Services
12. Account Termination and Data Deletion
Regarding account closure:
- Voluntary Termination: You may close your account at any time
- Data Retention: After closure, we retain your data for 30 days for recovery purposes
- Permanent Deletion: After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted (except as required by law)
- Export Before Deletion: Export your data before closing your account
- Involuntary Termination: We may terminate accounts for Terms violations
- No Refunds: No refunds for early termination (except as stated in Section 5)
13. Service Guarantees and Disclaimers
While we strive for excellence, please note:
- We do not guarantee specific business outcomes or results
- Chatbot accuracy and performance may vary
- Service availability may be affected by factors beyond our control
- We are not liable for decisions made based on chatbot responses
